Main & Hall Gallery

ImpactShow banner

Impact 2017 is Neilson Park Creative Centre’s 25th annual juried exhibition that features multi-media artwork from artists of different disciplines. This year we received over 140 artwork submissions from our memberships and artists all over the GTA. After a rigorous selection process by two of our jurors, less than half of these submissions were chosen to be exhibited. The exhibition displays a wide range of different techniques and stylistic approaches.

You will have an opportunity to cast your vote for our special "People's Choice Award".

Beverly Morgan

Exhibition Duration: August 1 - 31, 2017

Bev Morgan is primarily a watercolour artist who currently resides in Etobicoke.  She has been involved with art in one way or another all her life.  Since retiring from teaching, many of those years spent teaching art, she has been able to devote herself full-time to her own painting.

The subjects of her paintings are varied and are drawn from her travels and personal experiences.  Although she paints primarily in watercolour, she has recently ventured into the world of pastel and acrylic and collage.  Her style is impressionistic but is constantly evolving.  One of her favourite techniques is the use of negative painting, which is quite prevalent in her watercolour florals.
