NPCC is excited to announce the addition of a new exhibition space, the Openfield Gallery. This mini gallery is located at the entrance of the center’s driveway and sits within Neilson Park. It’s a new way for us to mark our presence in the local community, engage the public and serves as an innovative space to exhibit artwork.
Thank you to our friends from the Open Field Collective for making this happen. There are currently operating 9 mini galleries in Guelph and Toronto and aims to bring contemporary art to public spaces.
You can contribute to our first exhibition by joining us for Doors Open Toronto on Sat., May 26 & Sun., May 27, 2018, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Each visitor will have the opportunity to leave a mark for the gallery.
Stay tuned for future programming updates about NPCC’s new Openfield Gallery!

Marie A. Prospero
Exhibition Duration: May 1 - June 29, 2018
Marie's Mailbox paintings are meant to be personalized by writing a name on the Mailbox which can be done on pickup. Each painting is a hand painting original. They are a great gift and can be made to fit any commercial frame in a variety of sizes from 8 x 10 to 16 x 20 inches. The hand painted scarves are 100% silk. The variations are caused by the salt on different hues. Then they are wrapped in tissue and steamed for 45 minutes to set the colours and finally washed by hand. Marie’s pendants are hand sculpted of clay and painted in gold.
Exhibition Duration: May 14 - June 10, 2018
