Job Description
Student Interns will be responsible for assisting with the successful delivery of City of Toronto’s Arts & Culture SPARK Project, Mobile In The Sky in association with Neilson Park Creative Centre.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support:
● Provide technical support to participants in NPCC’s online workshops using the
Zoom platform
● Record attendance
● Additional duties as assigned

Marketing:
● Assist with promotional activities
● Create content for NPCC’s social media channels
● Photography/ Videography
● Additional duties as assigned

Administration:
● Act as primary point of contact for general inquiries via email and telephone and logging of enquiries
● Track program registration and participant sign in during in-person event
● Responsible for inventory management
● Additional duties as assigned

Production:
● Event set up and take down
● Maintain craft and activity area
● Additional duties as assigned

Other:
● Attend training sessions/ meetings and participate in team building exercises

About A City of Toronto Arts & Culture SPARK Project: Mobile In the Sky
Funded by the City of Toronto’s Arts & Culture SPARK Project Grant, Mobile In the Sky is a community project offered to the public. This project has three significant components, a virtual kite making and decorating workshop, followed by an indoor exhibition to display participants' creations. Participants will be permitted to fly their kites at a culminating event during Culture Days at Neilson Park.

About Neilson Park Creative Centre
Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC) is an arts hub in Western Toronto, that serves the community by offering arts based programs, events, and exposure to Canadian Arts and Culture. At present, NPCC has 500+ members. We also house 6 resident groups who avail of the services NPCC offers as a melting pot for creativity and community engagement. As an organization we aim to embody the rich and diverse landscape of Toronto through partnerships, outreach initiatives and community engagement.
