Please join us for a unique opportunity of personal reflection, perspective and catharsis through creativity. Due to what you, as an individual, and indeed what the world has recently been through, this workshop provides the opportunity to process your experience of isolation artistically. All of us have spent time looking from inside our homes to the world outside, observing changing seasons, nature’s tenacity and our own fluctuating levels of anxiety and potentially developing an artistic response to it. Each of the three classes will begin with a brief look at artists that have utilized this concept, think of Matisse and his views from hotel rooms towards the Mediterranean in the south of France or Richard Diebenkorn with his paintings from inside his studio to the view of suburban California. Art has always been a record keeper and this workshop will be a perfect way to process the current challenging circumstances. Materials list click here.
