Students are given the opportunity to learn about artists and art movements, explore some well-known works and experiment with related techniques and media to create fun and exciting projects. From Abstract Expressionism to Art Nouveau, Cubism to Impressionism and Classicism to Suprematism, the inspiration will be applied to creating fun works of art and can include: acrylic on canvas, watercolour, practical items, plexi glass reverse paintings, art cubes, clay sculpture and more! Children receive step-by-step instruction and support as they learn to compose works of artful perspective, proportion and colour balance. All materials are included.
