Get introduced to the basic skills and concepts of improvisation, and how to cultivate a ‘Yes, And’ attitude for life in a relaxed and supportive environment. Become familiar with Improv vocabulary and execute basic scenes through games and fun activities. No trust falls, just great ways to incorporate humour, creativity, public speaking skills and spontaneity into your life. Artists love to think outside the box, so put yourself in a wheeled box or horseless chariot of some kind and make your way to NPCC for a series of eight amazing Thursday nights with sough-after instructor Patrick Ronan. Patrick is an award-winning comedian with 12 years of experience in stand-up, sketch, and improv. He is an experienced instructor and a graduate of the Humber College Comedy Writing and Performance Program. Patrick is also a recipient of the Mark Breslin Award of Stand-Up Excellence, and has performed in multiple festivals (JFL42, The Miami Improv Festival, Toronto Sketch Fest, etc.) and television projects.
