Stake your artistic independence and creative freedom. Unleash some real and true visceral and visual communication and learn conceptual tools to convey emotions and sensory experiences. With Steve Rose, MFA, exhibiting artist and seasoned NPCC instructor, students will have the opportunity to implement and discuss the elements of Automatism. They will discover works by Quebecois artists associated with the movement and learn about the ways in which they expressed themselves with paint and why. This process of art challenges the artist to leave expectation and preconceptions behind and to give themselves over to a creative process that is more subconscious.
