Learn from a seasoned Master Pastelist and enjoy the inspiring and wonderful experience of creating art outdoors with the forgiving, blendable and fun medium of soft pastel. This three-session workshop will provide an opportunity for students to understand technique and the specifics of panting outdoors in the first session, with the following two sessions taking place in a selected area of our beautiful, forested and river-ribboned Neilson Park. Students will be able to create a number of works and will learn how to achieve depth, subject-specific blending methods and colour mixing techniques, and will benefit from the instructors expert step-by-step demonstrations and constructive critique. Individual attention will help participants master this amazing medium with Maria Iva, a Signature Member of Pastel Artists Canada. For a materials list, please check our website.
