NPCC is excited to offer this amazing class with Jessica Rysyk, BFA, Sculpture and Installation. In this session, participants will learn how to create silicone moulds using the brush-on technique. They will learn how to use specialized materials for mould making and sculpture and will gain a practical understanding of the properties and capabilities of sculpture compounds and other materials (chemical and odour free). Students will get the opportunity to implement the whole process of dump-mould mould making, from concept and mother mould design to creating casts. Plaster will be provided by the instructor as well as some supportive kit items, $16 per person, to be paid directly to the instructor at the start of class. Jessica is an artist and fabricator for conceptual art projects and commercial design, and has a long list of public and corporate art project accomplishments.
