Get ready to splash, swirl, and splatter your way into a wild world of colour and creativity! This week, campers will explore the coolest and most eye-popping art techniques that will ignite their imaginations and let their personalities shine. From bold to subtle, there’s something for everyone to love in this hands-on week of artistic fun. Kids will make tie-dye shirts and accessories, get messy with abstract acrylic pours and splatter art, and explore the magic of melting with wax crayon drips or collagraph print making techniques. Feeling dreamy? Campers can step into a surreal world of wonder where they can explore creations inspired by Salvador Dali or Magritte as they play with scale, proportion and combined themes. Feeling crafty? From collages, beadwork, and stone mosaics to weaving magic with fibre art and learning ombre dyeing techniques, each age group will have projects specifically tailored to their skill level. For our more mature painters-in-the-making, we’re diving into abstract acrylic landscapes where participants will sharpen their observation skills and compose stunning natural scenes. As we celebrate the season, every day will be a splash of fun and discovery. Skilled instructors and counsellors will guide and support children step-by-step as they build confidence and technical skills, and engaging lessons in colour mixing theory and the elements and principles of art and design will set campers up for success. Camps are divided by age group: 5-7, 7-9, 9-11 and 11-14. Please sign up for your appropriate age group. All materials are included.
