Learn from a seasoned Master Pastelist and enjoy creating beautiful land and waterscape scenery with the forgiving, blendable and fun medium of soft pastel. In this single 5-hour workshop, participants will be able to create one or two works and learn how to achieve depth, light and complexity, starting with underpainting and adding layers of pastel while going through the stages of the composition process. Learn subject-specific blending and colour mixing techniques and benefit from the instructor’s expert step-by-step demonstrations and constructive critique. Individual attention will help participants master this amazing medium. Maria Iva is a Signature Member of Pastel Artists Canada.
