Watercolour artists and learners of all levels are invited to join this session led by provincially celebrated and collected contemporary artist, Andrew Sookrah. Andrew will lead this fun and inspiring class with plenty of examples, technical demonstrations and one-on-one support as students make measurable strides in painting and composition development skills. Attention is paid to each participants’ goals and plenty of support is provided as they learn to connect the varying natural surfaces, textures, and elements in landscape or figurative work. Light source will be addressed as students learn different techniques such as washes, wet in wet, wet-on-dry, drybrush, and the use of salt.
