Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced painter, Vitaly will guide you through a fun process of composing impactful and expressive portraits in soft pastel and acrylic paint. Students will learn about structure and proportion and will then refine and expand their repertoire of media use skills, techniques and use of colour to the degree of their choice. Vitaly will assist in your process of defining shape and form as you create a likeness of your subject, and will provide demonstrations during the session as well as individual guidance, support, and constructive critique. Vitaly Medvedovsky MFA, Painting, Concordia University and BFA, OCAD has taught and exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Stuttgart, and Berlin.
