Call for Entry - 2026 En Plein Air Competition
Get ready to create, explore, and be inspired in the great outdoors! Our competition takes place during the Neilson Park Creative Festival on Saturday, July 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., wrapping up with a celebratory awards ceremony at 4:30 p.m.
“En plein air” is French for “in the open air” and all about making art outside, and we’re taking that spirit to the next level. Whether you paint, draw, sculpt, stitch, weave, or experiment in mixed media, all styles and materials are welcome! Set up wherever inspiration strikes: among the trees, near the lively vendors, or beside the festival’s music and energy—anywhere outdoors in Neilson Park or Markland Woods.
Bring your creativity, soak up the atmosphere, and join in the fun! Be sure to register by July 10 at 4:00 p.m.
Call for Entry - IMPACT 2026 Juried Exhibition
The call for artists for IMPACT 2026, NPCC’s Annual Juried exhibition. The exhibition dates are from
Artists (18 years+) at early, mid, and later points in their career are invited to submit.
IMPACT is NPCC’s most anticipated show that fosters creativity in the artistic community. IMPACT 2026 aims to bring together artists practicing in diverse media and approaches, both traditional and contemporary, while showcasing artwork of the highest standard.
The deadline for entry is Friday, May 1, 2026
Call for Emerging Artists
Our Emergence Gallery showcases the work of artists who are in the early stages of their career who have a small exhibition history or who are under the age of 30. Artists have the opportunity to apply to showcase their work in a professional setting and gain exposure in the local arts community.
The space is located by the entrance of Neilson Park Creative Centre and it measures approximately 7 x7 feet. We welcome artwork of any medium to be displayed for the duration of three weeks.
Accepted artists exhibit free of charge.
