Learn how to use specific hues to create visual appeal, mood or emotional cohesion in a work of art. Consider how to use colour to draw the eye to a subject, create balance, emphasis or harmony across a composition or to maximize impact. In this creative open media session (oil paint excluded), participants are invited to paint a subject of their choosing while exploring colour in composition with Steve Rose, MFA and Instructor for over 30 years. Steve will inspire the group with presentations and subject matter references as well as guide participants through their projects with focused support on proportion, media technique, and constructive critique.
