Families explore creativity through a hands-on art activity inspired by Diwali celebrations. Participants will decorate their tealight holders abdbase trivet using paints, embellishments, glitter, and small craft mirrors, with a selection of traditional and contemporary design ideas available for inspiration. The session includes a brief introduction to the use of diyas during Diwali and how colour, pattern, and decorative details are commonly incorporated into festive celebrations. Participants will experiment with layering colours, creating simple patterns, and adding decorative elements to make their pieces unique. The activity is designed to encourage creativity, conversation, and artistic exploration in a relaxed and welcoming environment for all ages and skill levels. Each participant will leave with a personalized diya holder to take home and enjoy during the festival season. All supplies are included!
