Learn to play familiar songs, sing along, and have fun! Beginners learn to play guitar while more experienced players build on their skills in a small and friendly group atmosphere. Learn at your own pace as we cover all the basics: holding the guitar, hand positions, open chords, strumming and picking, finger style playing, reading chord charts and other musical notation. Participants will need to bring an acoustic guitar for this course. No guitar? If you want to try out guitar but are not sure enough to buy one yet, Carol suggests renting a guitar with case from Long and McQuade in Mississauga or on Bloor St. just west of Ossington Ave. in Toronto. Come and join us in making music together! No additional materials are required.
