Learn how to paint with acrylics starting with the basics of brush and palette knife use, colour theory / mixing, and learning about the elements and principles of art. You will then get the chance to create a series of short landscape and figurative projects which will encourage experimentation, and as you observe your subjects and focus on different techniques, each project will become a stepping stone towards a larger project of your choosing. The step-by-step approach and skill-building support of the instructor makes this a flexible, fun, and free-flowing class where beginners are encouraged to let loose and try different things.
