This exciting jewellery making class allows participants to learn about the glass firing process while designing beautiful pendants or earrings with artist Lorena Diaz. All glass and forming materials will be included in a kit that students will purchase from the instructor at the start of the session, $25, cash accepted. Once the designs have been completed, Lorena will take each project to her studio for kiln-firing at 1500 degrees and will then return them to the centre for participants to affix with loops and hooks to make them into lovely jewellery. Students will have the option to create one large rectangular piece or a set of earrings and one heart pendant, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
