This is a drawing fundamentals class for kids who really want to learn observation skills and technique to be able to draw their favourite subjects. This season we are focusing on portrait drawing! Participants will enjoy learning to draw people and animals, and will develop abilities in value, form, perspective and light source. They will learn how to look at a reference, plan a composition and use space effectively in their artwork. Nima will teach with references and demonstrations, and will assist with step-by-step instruction while allowing students to explore a planned list of subjects and categories to ensure a good variety of practice, an understanding of process and lovely finished projects that kids will take home to show off. All materials are included.
