Spend a lovely morning learning the art of Ikebana with Japanese-born, Toronto-based Artist Aya Sugino. Aya is a Sogetsu Ikebana School (Tokyo) certified instructor and holds the rank of Teacher’s Diploma 1st Grade Somu. She is also an active member of the Sogetsu Ikebana Teachers’ Association. Aya combines her skills with her experience as an interior designer to bring you this wonderful workshop at NPCC. Experience this wonderful hands-on workshop and benefit from her experienced knowledge of composition rules and techniques. You will be able to take home your arrangement at the ned of thesession. A materials kit will be available for purchase from the instructor at the beginning of the session. $45.00, cash accepted. Kit includes the floral frog (kenzan) as well as a specific and appropriately-sized vessel. Flowers are not included inteh kit cost but will be provided by NPCC.
