In this beginner workshop, participants will create a framed work of art using glistening tempered glass, tiles, and paper collage. To start, everyone will take a pause and turn inward as this workshop has a meditative approach. The group will be guided through an optional creative visualization to find a word, quote, or simple message to embellish. Often, people come to the workshop with a word in mind! Enjoy creating your mixed media design and learn the mosaic process with an established Mosaic artist of over 10 years. Incorporate decorative paper, cut outs from magazines, beads, tiles, trinkets, (feel free to bring some from home), and tempered glass. This workshop requires the purchase of a kit, $35 to be paid directly to the instructor, cash accepted. The kit includes all materials needed: glass, tiles, grout, adhesive, substrate and embellishments and all required tools will be made available to use during the session.
