Seize the daylight! There is a reason that the golden light at the time of day that this plein-air painting session is scheduled is called magic hour. Whether a you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced water media artist, Andrew will guide you through a fun process of harnessing that magical and fleeting light by beginning with the basics of working outdoors and then guiding the group through the process of composing the base structure for a vibrant landscape painting. Students will next receive support in refining and expanding their repertoire of brushstrokes, use of vibrant colour to the degree of their choice, and will learn effective ways of defining shape and form in nature.
