What disappears when an image is covered — and what remains? Participants will explore the idea of the palimpsest: a surface that carries traces of previous histories. Using wax resist, transparent watercolour and ink washes, scratching and repeated layering, we will build images in which marks are hidden, protected and rediscovered. Each finished work becomes a record of its own making, with earlier decisions remaining embedded beneath the surface. For a full materials list, please check our website.
